Euronet Worldwide’s epay division launches Conductor, a cloud-based digital platform for creating and managing omnichannel prepaid products programs

Conductor’s cost-saving, self-service solution controls global physical and digital prepaid programs (e.g., physical gift card, digital PIN, code to content) and enables access to an omnichannel distribution network with millions of points of sale in numerous countries.

Munich, Germany and Leawood, Kansas (4-April-2022) – epay, a business segment of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT), announced today the availability of Conductor, a SaaS-based digital platform for companies who are interested in quickly and easily establishing their own prepaid program (e.g., physical gift card, digital PIN, code to content) instead of building their own in-house solution.

Conductor enables companies to leverage epay’s technical capabilities to launch full-feature prepaid programs that facilitate payments, drive incremental revenue and increase customer acquisition. Without a service such as Conductor, companies must spend hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to build and maintain such systems and invest in internal resource support such as technical development, technical infrastructure and internal operations to manage assets and product lists.

The first self-service digital platform of its kind, Conductor offers speed to market, low up-front costs and long-term scalability. Automation and workflow tools help an operations staff administer the prepaid program while a full-service management portal helps manage sales and redemption activities.

Conductor was built to assist the thousands of new and existing companies who are great at creating content but have little to no experience or resources for creating and maintaining a prepaid distribution system. These companies include video game publishers, over the top streaming companies, streaming music companies, home delivery companies and other organizations that seek to offer consumers a way to use gift cards or codes to prepay for services and subscriptions or if they want to offer a gifting option.

Without Conductor, an operations staff often manages PIN codes via spreadsheets which is manually intensive and error prone, especially when handling multiple products (SKUs). Beyond PIN code management and code distribution, activation of codes requires integrations to retailers and distributors, which drives the need for network infrastructure and monitoring.

Conductor automates these processes and makes them frictionless. Codes are created in a few clicks and inventories are easily managed in an intuitive, self-service dashboard. Conductor also enables connection to key distributors in the prepaid industry including digital and physical retailers.

“Conductor is a vital tool for companies wishing to launch a prepaid products program,” said Bryan Zingg, Managing Director, epay Global Content and Product. “Our partners are looking for speed to market, scalability and cost savings for their physical and digital gift card programs. This platform offers access to the tools epay has developed over decades to manage its own business. In addition to tools to help automate manual processes like PIN generation, SKU management and asset management, the Conductor platform offers analytics and reporting to allow performance visibility to management. This technology rides on epay’s best-in-class processing platform. The combination of these offerings means companies don’t have to dedicate their own software developers and infrastructure teams to the development of a prepaid offering because Conductor does it all for them.”
