Overview
The client is a global streaming platform specializing in anime content for a large, dedicated audience. They give users access to a vast library of shows and movies through subscription-based services, available across multiple devices.
Goals
The client engaged Conductor to:
- Provide a platform to create, host, manage, process, and give third parties access to their subscription streaming services
- Support multiple pricing models and languages, and scale to meet global demand
- Deploy a solution that could reach market quickly
Solution
Conductor was built around the client’s requirements, providing:
- Seamless connectivity: Conductor connected the client to epay’s global distribution network as well as major third-party partners, extending their reach into every corner of the market. North American distribution was handled by InComm (for example, Walmart), and EU distribution by epay.
- Platform integration: as a fully equipped processing, hosting, and issuing platform, Conductor integrated directly with the client’s systems. This gave the client access to multiple distribution networks, including epay, InComm, and Blackhawk, through a single integration rather than building separate connections to each.
- Comprehensive reporting: Conductor’s reporting dashboard, paired with financial rules and models for third parties, made tracking and managing the client’s services straightforward.
- Asset and rights management: the client could control assets and rights for internal and external parties, keeping content management and distribution consistent.
- Product setup support: Conductor supported setting up products across different pricing models and languages, with both real-time and bulk product supply.
Outcome
Using Conductor, the client was able to implement the solution quickly and bring it to market on schedule, meeting their global requirements. The collaboration was a success, with a considerable impact on the client’s service.
