The client is a leading organisation within the horticultural industry, representing garden centres, nurseries, and landscapers across the country. They provide valuable support and services to their members, including a popular gift card programme aimed at promoting gardening and outdoor living.
Goals
We were approached by the association to modernise their national gift card programme by introducing a digital edition for over 1,400 garden centres and nurseries.
The goal was to create a seamless digital experience which protected and future-proofed their existing offering, while enhancing customer convenience and expanding the client’s reach in the gardening sector.
Solution
To support the launch across the UK, epay integrated over 900 outlets, 18 EPOS integrations and 800 new terminals.
This integration is important as it offers the organisation the extra support they need to continue offering their existing gift card digitally to consumers seamlessly.
Outcome
Both B2B and B2C consumers can now purchase digital vouchers, personalise them and send them in real time, thus demonstrating that the much-loved organisation is evolving its service to stay ahead of the ever-changing behaviors and habits of consumers.
Transitioning from paper vouchers and a physical card to a digital gift card has helped make both the receiving and redemption of cards more convenient for the organisation’s customers.
In addition, this new partnership has allowed the organisation to reach new consumers beyond its core membership.
